Located in the mountains of northwest Montana, Bigfork is situated on a sparkling blue bay where the Swan River flows into Flathead Lake. With more than 180 miles of shoreline, Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, providing a scenic playground for fishing, boating and water recreation. The town of Bigfork is a picturesque and charming place. Fine restaurants, art galleries, a 27-hole golf course, live theater and unique shops can all be found within a quaint Western setting. Located nearby are Glacier National Park (30 min. drive), the Bob Marshall, and the Swan Wilderness areas that are full of wildlife and recreational opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.

From fishing, hiking, river rafting, zip-lines, visiting a local Indian reservation, bow and arrow shooting...you will be busy if you want to be active. In our own backyard you can go on horseback riding tours to see the breathtaking views of Flathead Lake Valley, breakfast rides with pancakes and bacon, and if you're a little more adventurous, you can practice your rodeo skills in the arena or get riding lessons from one of the trained ranglers.
