This cabin in Northern Montana had a lot of interior square footage but was short on bedrooms. We decided to create two additional rooms by closing up the loft space and converting one of the large attic spaces into a bedroom. If you have kids, you know that an open loft is not where you want to sleep, especially on vacation! With one of the attic rooms needing to become a bedroom, we added a dormer to create more head space and let in the light. The attic room quickly became the most popular room in the house because it now sleeps 6!
